Chemical Engineering program is practice-oriented aimed to develop well-qualified Chemical Engineers who could work in industries and other related environments. Students perform design, analysis, optimization and control processing operations. Students can also guide others who perform these functions, in chemical process and related industries, consultancies, government departments, universities and private practice. The curriculum is designed to produce graduates who are capable of applying the knowledge of Science and Engineering to realize economical production and technology development. The curriculum contains significant practical components, plant visits and training opportunities aimed at integrating theory with practical application. Chemical Engineering Bachelor degree graduates are specialized in different fields of Engineering practices related to the program such as Chemical Engineer, Process Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Oil Engineer and Chemical Engineering Researcher. On the other hand, Chemical Engineering Diploma degree graduates work as Technicians in the aforementioned fields.
A Chemical Engineering Bachelor degree graduate can be recruited in many fields including industries, consultancies and education sector. The graduate engineer can work as Chemical engineer, Petroleum engineer, Process Design engineer, Operations engineer, Product/process development engineer, Quality Control engineer and also in related fields as Energy engineer and Safety engineer. On the other hand, Chemical Engineering Diploma degree graduates can work as Technicians in the aforementioned fields.
